Dr. Ronald Friedman is a child psychologist who, for many years, was
a middle school teacher. As both a teacher and a psychologist
he has worked in public schools for many years and has experience
working with over 1500 troubled children and adolescents and their
families.
He was an Assistant professor of Pediatrics at
the University of Iowa College of Medicine and Associate Professor
in the Department of Applied Psychology at the University of Toronto
and the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
He is also a consultant to special education departments in numerous
school districts. He is the author of over 50 articles published
in education, medical and psychology journals and is co-author of
the books, Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactivity and Management
of Children and Adolescents with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Dr.
Friedman presents nearly 75 training programs each year for educators
primarily on the topic of using more effective classroom management.
