Penny
Altman, M.A. is the managing partner of HSC Workshops. She is an experienced
teacher and training specialist who conducts workshops with more than
1000 educators and mental health professionals each year in the area
of psychological problems in children. In addition to having
taught university level classes and conducted workshops since 1979,
she has provided consulting services to numerous schools and school
districts. Her areas of expertise include behavior management,
home/school communication, teaching children responsibility and adult
education.
Other areas of specialty include change management,
team development and management and executive training. She
has over 10 years experience as a nonprofit manager and director and
was also a senior development consultant with a Fortune 100 company
for eight years.
Penny has taught both graduate and
undergraduate university courses in supervision, organizational behavior,
management training and communication. She is also co-author of the
book, "How to Design, Develop, and Market Health Care Seminars."
Penny is a much sought after speaker with a special skill in presenting
difficult material in an easily understandable and entertaining manner.
